  I absolutely love this place! Food is amazing, the staff is so friendly and the ambiance is relaxing and just dope. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat.

  I wouldn't recommend if you have somewhere to be. This place is really SLOOOOOOOOOW and only accepts cash, but they advertise VISA, MasterCard and etc in the window.
  
  Once the food finally came out it was pretty good, but they should advertise the food is going to take atleast 40 minutes to an hour.
  
  Server was pretty nice
  
  Would I come back here ? Probably not unless I'm doing a carry out order.

  This was my first time eating at this Soul Food restaurant.  The place is small, the music good creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. The servers maintained a courteous attitude throughout. The food is good. There were six in my party and the collective oohs and aahs continued through our meal. I had the salmon, collards, stringbeans. The salmon was cooked nicely and the vegetables tasty ( albeit the stringbeans while tasty could do with less salt). This establishment did not make you feel rushed at all
  and I wish it were larger.
  My family and Iwill definitely return and soon.
  Oh yes, and heartfelt thank you to our server ( shorter curly hair, sorry I did forget your name but not your kindness). And to the gentleman who paid for our
  Meal; thank you I(we) remain grateful.

  I wish I could give this place zero stars. This eating experience was one of the worst ever! To start, online it has that they open at 12 so some of the people in our group were there at or before 12, then we were informed that they didn't open until 12:30. Once we did get to go in, it was HOT inside.  They had like 2 little fans hanging from the ceiling to circulate the air, which was hot. Matter of fact, someone overheard one of the workers say that the air conditioner was being worked on to try to fix it. Funny though that a previos person wrote a review that the air wasn't working on Wednesday when they came. SHM (It was Saturday!)
  
  The server took our drink orders and told us I believe when we were ordering food that they only were taking cash.  Of course no one was really prepared for that but they decided to go to the ATM. Anyway, we finally get our drinks (like 2 at a time sine the girl was not using a tray). Keep in mind, there were about 15 of us at that time. Four more people came late and actually sat at a different table. They gave their orders. (Not knowing that yhe girl did not put our order in until she took theirs!) So we are waiting and waiting and asking how much longer and being told like 10 more minutes or so. Needless to say, it was about 2:20 and we still had not received our food. We decided to leave. Then the manager ( I guess that was who he was) when we told him we were leaving got mad and started yelling how we needed to pay for our drinks. We explained why we didn't feel we should pay--The wait, the heat which was over 80 degrees, oh and let me not forget how they had the nerve to not have enough ice. How is that when you just opened?! Then he starts threatening to call the police. One of the ladies in our party just went ahead and paid to avoid any issues and we all left. He then calls someone on the phone ranting and making a scene talking loud about what happened. Saying how it was like 30 of us, which was a lie and how we didn't have a reservation. Reservation?? For that hole in the wall, seriously?
  
  Now I usually try to support Black owned businesses but not this one!! I wish I didn't have to give the 1 star I gave.

  you want food with some soul to it this is the spot very cozy spot I love the ambience. Definitely will return my first time there wanted something different for my birthday
